This was my first meeting with the Philemon scholars and resulted in the proposal that I take on the editorial work of Jung’s lecture series “Dream Symbols of the Individuation Process.” It has been a thrilling and stimulating journey to complete this work, and I would not have been able to do it without the help of many contributing partners. This editorial work started ten years ago, in 2008, when I visited Toronto and the Second Philemon Seminar in Jung History held by the Philemon Foundation, to give a lecture on the relationship between the Swedish psychotherapist Poul Bjerre and C.
